About Charley

Charley is a highly skilled and certified hair, makeup and special effects artist based in the east midlands, UK. With a passion for creativity and precision, Charley holds a strong academic background, having completed a foundation degree in artistic makeup and special effects in 2020, achieving a distinction. This degree focused on advanced prosthetics , postiche and a variety of makeup applications, including bridal, editorial, media, theatrical and camouflage makeup. In 2021, Charley furthered her expertise by earning a first class honours bachelor of arts (Hons) degree in professional studies (Creative industries) specializing in creative makeup and headdress design.

Dedicated to her craft, Charley is committed to ongoing professional development, regularly attending workshops and masterclasses to refine her skills and stay ahead of the latest trends. Her experience spans various fields in the make up industry. More recently, Charley was part of the girl meets brush HMUA team at London Fashion Week for House of iKons' 10th Anniversary  and worked backstage at the business Niche awards 2024.
