About Charley

Charley is a fully qualified, certified & insured Hair, makeup & special effects artist based in the East midlands, UK. In July 2020, Charley completed a two year foundation degree in Artistic makeup & special effects, specialised in advanced prosthetics, postiche (Hair & wig work) & make-up including media & camouflage makeup, bridal, editorial, & photography, achieving the highest grade, Distinction. In 2021, Charley went on to complete a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Professional studies (creative industries) specializing in creative make up & headdress design, being awarded a first class honours.

 As a hair & make-up artist that is passionate, committed & enthusiastic in all areas of her work , it is essential & extremely important in charley's work ethnic that she continues to expand and improve on her skill set & knowledge, keeping on top of continued professional development (CPD) by attending a variety of workshops & masterclasses, enabling charley to up skill & learn new techniques, as well as aspiring to gain new life experiences in different areas of the industry such as theatre, film, TV and commercials.
